Virginia defeats Georgetown, 79-75

The Cavaliers improved their non-conference record to 7-2 when they defeated Georgetown in University Hall yesterday, 79-75.Virginia was led by forwards Travis Watson and Elton Brown, who combined for 30 points and 12 rebounds.
The Cavaliers were also led by transfer guard Devin Smith with 14 points. Center Nick Vanderlaan added eight points and was the team's leading rebounder with eight.
